1. Purpose of this page
This document describes how data principals may request the erasure of their personal data processed by Mikky and its associated WhatsApp Business Platform integrations, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Meta Platform policies.
2. Immediate WhatsApp opt-out (Reply STOP)
If you wish to immediately stop receiving campaign and marketing messages on WhatsApp from any restaurant using our platform, simply reply with the single word:
Our automated webhook will immediately mark your mobile number as unsubscribed across outbound marketing campaigns.
3. Two audiences and procedures
Audience A: Restaurant Customers (Business Accounts)
If you are a restaurant owner or authorized administrator seeking to terminate your account and delete all synced CRM records, submit the request below or email privacy@mikky.in from your registered work email. We will initiate a complete export and systematic database purge.
Audience B: Restaurant Diners / End Guests
If you dined at a restaurant that utilizes Mikky and want your contact details removed from their CRM, you may contact the restaurant directly (as they are the primary Data Fiduciary). Alternatively, you can submit the form below or write to privacy@mikky.in; we will promptly forward your instruction to the restaurant and delete our processor mirrors.
4. What gets deleted and the deletion timeline
Upon receiving a verified request:
- Deleted data: Diner mobile numbers, names, specific order notes, behavioral tag classifications, and messaging delivery logs.
- Retained statutory data: Anonymized transaction totals and tax audit logs may be preserved where mandatory under Indian Goods and Services Tax (GST) laws or statutory accounting regulations.
- Timeline: Receipt of request is confirmed within 7 days. The complete database deletion and confirmation report is finished within 30 days.
